Progesterone dropped from 11 to 9. Which in my mind is a bad thing. I know this fluctuates but to me its a bad sign. To me its when my pregnancies went south (just like my levels)
Waiting for CCRM to call me back after a long fight with the damn lab that has no concept of what STAT means.
Headed to the pharmacy to pick up more prenatal vitamins. Although I really want to go home and shove about 10 prometriums up my hooha to get that level up.....
Will let you know what CCRM says.
UPDATE: CCRM finally called back. Seemed I was much more worried than they were with my lab levels....which the lab never faxed!!,
They recognized my concern with the drop in levels and said that they always fluctuate ( have heard that explanation before). They were content with 9. However, they agreed that if my level dropped to 7 they would switch me to injections. I told the I had to be proactive and not just "wait" until it drops. They didn't feel like I had to do anything different at this point. Also, agreed to send me for a repeat test on Monday instead of waiting until Wednesday.
Amy was very sympathic and listened to my concerns.(poor nurse!!)
I need to trust CCRM and recognize they know what they are doing. I just don't understand why a level of progesterone for IVF vs IUI/natural pregnancy would be different. It's not logical to me.
That's not a big drop at all. I wouldn't worry too much. Also, if you're only taking suppositories, your level just needs to be above 6 so you're still well above that. The levels do fluctuate for sure. Hang in there. I know how scary this stuff is.
ReplyDeleteUhg, that sounds so stressful! Keeping fingers crossed for you!
