21 weeks update:
Zo had her 4 month appt. she is 15 lbs and 25 inches. Clearly growing despite the comtinued reflux issues. She had 3 immunization and although she was a bit sleepy and fussy, she survived the process.
She also started oatmeal at 19 weeks. It's definitely a learning experience for both of us. She appeared to like it and we have moved to twice a day. She is still very interested in eating her hands so as you can imagine it makes this process challenging.
She is very verbal and loves to hear herself. She can grab an items with both hands, she started schoochin with her knees and face. It's hysterical and frustrating for her. Lots and lots of drool which doesn't really phase me since I am used to bibs and burp cloths.
I am trying to find the balance of work and raising my girl. I always knew being an SMC would be hard but some of the issues I believe I would still have if I was partnered. Only being able to spend a few hours each work day with Zola. Not enough time for that never ending pile of laundry and folding. Cooking. LOL! Does cereal count as cooking?
Zola has started sleeping better and through the night (just jinxed myself) or only wakes up once.
I love to watch her learn or try knew things and am trying to stimulate her learning as much as possible. Just signed her up for a "gym class" on the weekend. Even if I can't get to the gym, Zola can certainly go! She just started eating or trying to eat her toes. She still doesn't sit up alone but she is working on it.
Excited that many of my close SMC family are supporting me every day and getting ready to have more babies. Still in physical therapy for nerve impingement. Fun times. Zo is worth every jacked up body part!!
Will try to upload some photos but that would require me to get up and log on via my laptop and not iPad. Exhausting.
Will try to get better with posting but looks like its a monthly activity. Until we chat again....
